The Region

Nussdorf lies in the South-West of Germany close to the Black Forest and the Alsace region of France. The region is a comfortable one and half hour drive from Frankfurt; 45-minutes from Baden Baden/Karlsruhe and one-hour from Strasbourg or Stuttgart.

The Pfalzer or Palatine Forest as it is known merges with the Vosges mountains to form Europe's largest continuous forested area-a total of more than 500,000 hectares. The region features clearly marked footpaths, mediaeval castles and ruins and everything else you need for rest and relaxation. There are countless cycling routes across fields and valleys, through small wine villages and across the vineyards waiting to be explored and enjoyed.
